Purpose of the Guild:

The Scions of Edilar have taken upon themselves to rebuild Edilar after the atrocities of King Morlan Barden. It is their intent to follow the edict of the High Elves, and to build a strong Edilar founded in peace among Elves, Humans and all the Realms of the Confederation.

It is the goal of the Scions to aid in the dissemination of knowledge amongst all people, to protect life and bring all cultures in Thardferr together in mutual trust and understanding.

The Scions' Charter
The Scions of Edilar maintain that most difficulties and mistrust of others is mainly caused by ignorance. It is this reason that they attempt to learn about all sentient beings that hold life sacred, aid them and protect their rights as equals. Following these beliefs, all members will embrace life at all costs and secure the realms against the loss of knowledge. To this end, any sentient being that holds life sacred, and would uphold the dissemination of learning, is allowed to be a Scionist. In accordance with the edict of the High Elves, the Scions will proactively aid any humans and halflings wishing to reside in Edilar. All Scions will work diligently towards harmony between mankind and elvenkind in all realms. To facilitate this, each Conclave is encouraged to nominate a human to its council.

As a Scion, you will be charged to:

• Protect Edilar at all costs
• Use all appropriate means to rebuild Edilar
• Promote harmony between humankind and elvenkind in all realms
• Put all past transgressions behind them, and find the good in all things
• Not take life needlessly, unless their own life or a life under their protection is in jeopardy
• Fight to make all the Realms equal and safe for all manner of beings
• Uphold the laws of the Realm they are in
• Aid those that are in need
