Guildmaster Varrus:

"The Zetetic Society wishes to know what you do, not tell you what to do. With that said, we are not here to force you into doing things you are against. We only wish to keep records for future generations and to share with fellow Hero's of the land. As you will see, our rules are relatively simple and are to the benefit of the members as much as to the guild itself."

"First of all, all members are required to submit and update an adventuring log. This log is similar to a diary and should contain a description of your exploits. This account must be truthful and accurate. Other members may rely upon your log in their own adventures, so honesty is very important. These logs are the property of their respective owners and the Zetetic Society does not claim ownership. Members are free to do as they wish with their own logs, they may have their log placed on public display in our libary, or keep their adventures for the private viewing of members only."

"Secondly, the society demands that each member take a vow of confidence. Public information is available to all and is encouraged to be discussed publicly for we seek to educate as many people as possible. However, restricted materials such as private member logs may only be discussed with other members. However, if the information is relevant to the member's current adventure, he may divulge it to his party under dire circumstances and in doing so, we ask you would relive what you said about a private members work to that member. We only ask you respect the privacy of their works as they would yours."

"Finally, we ask that members to remain loyal to the Confederation and it's laws. Treason to the confederation will result in your removal from the Zetetic Society. Also, we ask you to do your best to be tolerant of others, regardless of race or religion."

"Benefits derived from membership are designed to help you further the goals of the society. These benefits are rewarded to members depending on their participation in the guild. The specifics will be discussed only with members."
