We don't yet know why... Perhaps it was an attempt to uncover some secret or to keep us from discovering some lost piece of knowledge. Whatever their purposes, Thardferr is bereft of it's stores of knowlege. The time has come to rebuild our libraries and discover our true history: to find the truth so that we may avoid the mistakes of the past."
