Guildmaster Varrus:

"During our short history, the Zetetic Society has tried to remain free of religious, political and racial ties. However, as time goes by we expect that this will change. Time has a way of forcing change. So, to keep members up to date with our guild relations, I will announce all changes in guild policy regarding external relations here."

"In general, we support the laws of the Confederation. If you are found guilty by Confederation standards, we will not grant you sanctuary within our guildhall. The Confederation maintains peace in Thardferr, and therefore is a very useful institution to our guild. It deals fairly with the Zetetic Society and protects us all."

"We are in fairly good standing with the Realm of Tuth. For the most part, other realms hardly know of us and we have no official status outside of Tuth."

"The Zetetic Society refrains from passing judgement on the races. From goblin to elf to human, we hold all individuals responsible for their own actions, not the race of which they are members. Therefore, it should be fairly plain to you that we bear no ill will to any race."

"Regarding other guilds, we simply hold the position that we do not support any force that is devoted to undermining the Confederation. However, nor do we, as a guild, seek to confront guilds that oppose the Confederation. Our purpose is not to be politically involved in Thardferr. Therefore, we will remain as neutral as possible."

"Currently, we have an arrangement with the Watchers of Twilight to help facilitate communication between our guildhall and members abroad."
